JEM celebrates first anniversary at new Rushden production base
JEM Education Marketing Services' mailing production team celebrated their first
year in Rushden Northamptonshire following their move from Abingdon in Oxfordshire. The 100,000 sq ft
purpose built facilities have lived up to JEM expectations, and this week Jem staff marked this milestone
in their history by looking back at the past year over a few drinks and cream cakes.
The site, already home to other Orbital Group companies Aspect Marketing Services and BP Travel Marketing
Services, has proved to be a winner with the JEM team. Although the move from Oxfordshire meant additional
team members, production manager Shaun Castle-Palmer, assisted by co-ordinators Colin Baker and Clive
Neville have excelled in quickly creating a client scentric, quality and service focused team.
Staff at the Rushden base, including Director André Kleinman, toasted to another successful year within
the JEM Company. "It is hard to believe particularly when showing clients around our mailing facility,
that this team has been in place for only 12 months. Credit and thanks are very much due to the team
members who transferred with us from Whooten to Rushden, specifically Shaun Castle-Palmer, Colin Baker
and Darren Mungean-Palmer who were instrumental in establishing and shaping the professional and
committed team".
Growth in the business since the August 2003 move has meant that JEM recently appointed two new members
of staff for the Ashford based Client Services team. Stuart Allen and Jenny Ince have both settled into
JEM well and are a welcome addition to the team.
JEM is established as a leading provider of direct mailing services to the education sector through its
