New Litho Capacity

New Litho Press arrives
Jem Education Direct's sister company Orbital Print recently took delivery of a four colour SRA3 litho printing press which travelled from its previous home at a printer in Frankfurt and will provide the capacity to handle greater volumes.

The Ryobi press is faster to set-up and run compared with the 32 year old Heidelberg machine it replaced, which was inherited when Orbital Print acquired Minnis Print earlier this year. Both of Orbital Print’s four colour litho presses are now Ryobi’s allowing operators to use either, so increasing resilience and compatibility of plates.
Clients of Orbital Print also have access to colour digital presses, based at its Sittingbourne branch, for short run books and manuals.
Orbital Print has its own local customer base and also provides print facilities for Jem Education Direct.
